Inspiring Wellbeing Episode 1

Inspiring Well-being is a series where I will be sharing strategies on meditation, nutrition and emotional wellness, all meant to help clear the stresses of the body so we experience greater vitality and overall health.

In this episode I will share a simple yet power technique for healing the body of trapped emotional stress through the power of awareness.

It has been 5 weeks since we have been called to stay home and isolate from the Covid-19. This complete stop in our regular routine is causing a great concern for our health. This stop is not only creating concern for our future but causing many people to experience heightened emotions such as fear, worry, grief, anger, anxiety and whole lot of restlessness and irritation. If we do not care for ourselves now we may have to deal with the consequences this emotional burden may have on our health once this is it all over.

As a Practitioner of Vibrational Therapy, I help people everyday in significantly reducing the emotional burden trapped in their body. 90% of illnesses and pain are due to emotional burdens in the body. By releasing this crystallized energy it opens the natural flow of energetic circulation which helps the body be empowered to regain balance and vitality. Clients experience relief from their anxiety and depression and it gives them greater resilience to everyday stress. They get back on track with their life with confidence and inner peace.

In this episode I am sharing a technique that you can practice at home to start the process of self healing using the power of your awareness.

It is only with awareness that you can change something. And where you focus your attention you change what you are looking at. (well known fact in quantum physics). Our attention is really all that we are and have. It is powerful and is the biggest gift we can offer another. At our core we all really want is to be noticed and acknowledged and by doing so brings acceptance, expansion and healing. This is true if you are human, an animal or a plant.

Our body is no different and seeks our attention all the time. It is composed of trillions of little cells, little entities that do their job and work for the whole. Together these cells speak a language called ‘sensation’. They try to get our attention with various sensations and these sensations are an indication that change is happening.

The next time your body is trying to get your attention with a sensation, instead of taking medication to quite it down, I invite you to give it your attention.

The guided meditation below will have you bringing your attention to the body through a guided meditation of body scanning.

Here are a few things you can expect when you practice body scanning.

  1. You begin to notice where you hold tension in your body. This awareness allows you to consciously let go and relax the area providing relief to the body.

  2. Your awareness becomes the clearing or acts like a key to release the trapped emotion or agitation from the body.

  3. When you bring your awareness to the louder sensation or pain of the body, you open up a communication channel. This allows the body to start expressing itself. You may not understand what your body is communicating at first but with time you will start getting impressions and hunches as to what your body needs for it to find balance again.

This meditation of Body Scan for Relaxation is the first step to any meditation practice and is a precious tool for self-care and healing. Practice regularly especially during strong emotions and before sleep.

Remember to keep a neutral mind throughout the process and avoid judgement of any kind.
